What are NK Cells?
Natural Killer (NK) Cells are the most aggressive component of the immune system, being a sub-type of special whiteblood cells called a lymphocyte. They are called into action anytime the body senses a foreign invader or discovers a cancer cell. They can either set off a chain reaction that effectively destroys the foreign invader or cnacer cells or secrete other chemicals called cytokines, that call other immune cells to destroy the foreign invader or cancer cell.
What do we have to Offer?
Through our clinic’s NK Cell Therapy Program, we provide our patients a series of NK Cell infusions, which is recommended to be spread over 6 months. The frequency of the sessions is dependent on the physician’s assessment of your condition. The NK cells are carefully harvested, sterilized, and prepared in a span of 1 month by our specialized team. After which, it is infused intravenously with close monitoring by the physician.

What is the significance of NK Cell activity?
The effectiveness of an immune system’s NK cells is just as significant as their quantity. Higher NK cell activity plays a key role in reducing the aggressive nature of tumors. The task of NK cells is comparable to that of a first line of defense, fighting against viral infections and newly emerging cancer cells. They are also responsible for destroying cancer cells.
